Visual Inspection of Knots
The wood is pre-selected to ensure that the drum receives wood without knots, positioning any potential knots in the reel flanges, and avoiding locations specified in Standard 9060, which refers to Standard IRAM 9590-1.

Visual Inspection of Cracks and Splits
