The reels are manufactured according to the specifications in IRAM Standard 9590-1:
• Table 1 ‘Reels commonly used in the electrical sector.
• Table 2 ‘Reels commonly used in the steel cable sector.
• Table 3 ‘Reels commonly used in the telecommunications sector.
• Table 4 ‘Reels for optical fiber.’

The wood used is high-quality Eucalyptus Saligna, free from biological agents and without chemical preservative treatment, with a 20% moisture content.

The wood undergoes a thermal process, free of cracks and natural knots, which are removed during quality control at the beginning of the production line.

“The nails used are suitable for hardwoods. The washers and tensioners are made of high-carbon steel, ideal for compression and tension efforts.”

“The reel consists of two reinforced circular covers (flanges), connected by a wooden cylinder (drum). The cylinder is made up of semi-curved wood pieces called staves. The three components are joined by compression force using washers, nuts, and steel tensioners.”
